Reaching water

Even though clean water might only be 50 metres beneath their feet, it is not uncommon for men, women, & children to walk upwards of 3 miles to collect and carry water from contaminated sources. Not just once, but multiple times a day.

How we drill

Our own team drills with a portable hand-crank rig from The Village Drill, and we also partner with trusted local drilling companies.

The hand-crank rig reaches 75% more places at 75% lower cost than a typical drilling rig.

Sponsor a well

Schools, businesses, churches and friend groups can fund a whole well together. $4,000 to $5,000 drills a complete borehole for a community.

Every finished well belongs to the community that looks after and maintains it, so the water keeps flowing for years.
